Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry refers to the replacement of missing or damaged teeth. Restorative options offered by our office include fillings, crowns, bridges, and dental implants. Our goal is to rehabilitate your smile and prevent any future dental issues.
Fillings
Often, your dentist can treat a cavity and restore the lost tooth material within days of discovering the issue. You’ll want to take care of it as soon as possible because the decay in your tooth will only get worse with time. At Morey Dental, we have decades of experience with dental fillings and can guide you through the decisions you need to make and keep the process as painless as possible.
Crowns
When a tooth’s structure is damaged significantly because of a fracture or decay, but the root of the tooth is still intact, a crown is often the quickest and best option. A crown is made to look exactly like a tooth and is shaped and colored to match the other teeth in your mouth. Your smile will return to its previous look in a matter of days.
Crowns are custom-designed out of materials, such as porcelain, to be a copy of a tooth you have lost or a tooth that you’d like to cover because it has become discolored or damaged. A crown is firmly sealed to a portion of your remaining tooth and can be expected to stay in place for years. Often, a crown is needed after a portion of a tooth breaks off, or decay causes the need to remove part of a tooth. Your dentist will shape down the remainder of your tooth to create a base on which a new crown is attached.
Bridges
Bridges are an option for patients who have lost a tooth but still have healthy teeth on both sides of the space. Benefits of dental bridges include: smile restoration, improvement in your ability to properly speak and chew, preservation of your face shape, and prevention of other teeth in your mouth from moving out of position. Our office utilizes dental bridges to fill the space between missing and remaining teeth by forming a bridge between them.
Dental Implants
Morey Dental is one of the few dental practices in the Marysville area that can provide in-office dental implants – the full procedure – in one convenient, comfortable location.
Because a dental implant is an extensive process that involves replacing a tooth root with a metal post and preparing a custom-made tooth to match your other teeth, it’s important to be able to place your trust in an experienced dentist. Our office has treated generations of patients for more than 30 years, and we strive to make the experience as pain-free as possible.
Reviews From Real Patients
Wendi L.
"I have been seeing Dr. Miller and the staff at Morey Dental for as long as I can remember. This is the only dental team my children have ever known. We have never had a bad experience. The quality of care and the professional, friendly staff are hands down the best! If you are looking for a dental team to take care of you or your family, please give Morey Dental a call. The only regret you will have is why you didn't call them sooner."
